The Fur Pawtrol was born from a lifelong dream shared by best friends Sian & Katie. Founded in 2024 by Katie and brought to life in 2025 when the two teamed up. The business is built on their shared love for animals and years of caring for their own furry friends. What started as a childhood dream has become a reality, offering pets the same love, care, and attention they’d get at home, and giving owners peace of mind knowing their companions are in safe, caring hands.

Sian
Co-Founder
In addition to pet sitting, Sian is trained to Level 3 in Complementary Therapies and holds Level 1 & 2 Reiki qualifications. This background gives her a calm, patient, and nurturing approach that animals naturally respond to.
Her training in holistic therapies means she is skilled at creating a soothing environment, tuning in to the needs of each pet, and offering gentle reassurance - especially for those who may be nervous or unsettled when their owners are away.
This unique blend of skills ensures that pets aren’t only cared for physically, but are also supported emotionally, making their time with The Fur Pawtrol as stress-free and comfortable as possible.
Katie
Co-Founder
Alongside her love of animals, Katie brings valuable professional training that gives pet parents extra peace of mind. She holds a SIA Door Supervisor Licence, which involved training in safety awareness, communication, conflict management, and emergency response.
This qualification demonstrates Katie’s ability to remain calm under pressure, handle responsibility, and maintain the highest standards of trust when entering people’s homes. Combined with our commitment to animal care, it means your pets, and your property, are always in safe hands.

We hold a Diploma in Feline First Aid with the Centre of Excellence, equipping us with the knowledge to stay calm and act quickly in any emergency. We are also DBS checked, giving you peace of mind that we are trustworthy and reliable when caring for your pets and your home.
In addition, we are both fully insured with Protectivity, which provides public liability cover, care and custody of animals, and non-negligent animal care, ensuring your pets and home are protected at all times.
